*My son picked this poem for his class project. The more we read it, the more we find in it.

Love is immortal. It overcomes all. Give it.

My heart

15 year ago today I married my best friend. I think I prayed for him so much his soul had to come find me. When he was ready and I was ready. The rest, as they say, is history.

He is my confidant, my companion, my comforter, my sanity, my anchor. He is an example of selflessness, a model of good style, and a light in my life. I try to practice what I preach and never hesitate to tell him how I feel. He does the same.

We are not perfect, but we try not to let fear get in the way of our connection.We work hard at it, but our willingness makes it easier to keep giving.
